The next quarterly BAS for the three months 1 January to 31 March 2024 will generally be due for lodgement and payment by 28th April 2024 however if you lodge electronically using a tax agent this can be extended to 28th May.

Time to get organised and prepare your 2023 tax return.  If you do it yourself through MyGov, the deadline is 31st October.  However if you lodge through a tax agent, you could have up until May 2024 to lodge.

The Superannuation Guarantee rate rose to 11.0% from 1st July 2023.  The rate is to continue to rise by 0.5% per annum until it reaches 12.0% from 1st July 2025.  If you are an employee, we recommend you check your payslips to ensure your employer is paying super at the correct rate.
